The Owatonna boys basketball team rolled to a 79-45 win at Red Wing Tuesday night. The Huskies hit 11 three-pointers in the game and completed an old-fashioned three point play three times. They ever turned a reverse three-point play.

Evan Dushek went to the line for a pair of free throws almost midway through the first half. He sank the first shot but missed the second. The ball was rebounded by a Red Wing player. But in the blink of an eye, the Huskies Brayden Williams swiped it from his hands and laid it up and in.

Williams, a future Division II player with Bemidji State and on the Mr. Basketball Watch List, was dazzling at The Cage, amassing 32 points. He had a variety of three-pointers, slicing lay-ups, and fast break finishes. He drained three treys in the second half and went 5-for-5 at the free throw line.

Dushek added 17 while being a bit limited in minutes due to foul trouble. Blake Burmeister added 12 and four three's. Ty Creger got into the three-point barrage with a pair. Collin Vick and Nick Williams each had a trey. Avery Hartman had an and-one three-point play. Noah Kubicek and Jack Helget also scored for the Huskies (11-2, 9-0 in the Big Nine). OHS plays at Albert Lea Friday, January 28 at 7:30 pm on AM 1390 KRFO. Monday, January 31 they host the Tigers in a makeup game.
