The University of Minnesota will again this year be hosting Research Update sessions. 2020 Research Update Sessions will be held at the Southern Research and Outreach Center at Waseca on January 7, 2019 and at the Rochester International Event center on January 8 2019. The times are the same from 12:30 to 4:40 pm. Research Update Sessions will also be at Lamberton on January 9, 2019 and in Northern Minnesota.

This program is especially for "agronomists, ag sales people (seeds, chemicals, fertilizers). crop consultants, crop production specialists, Extension Educators, agriculture government agency personal, farm managers, and anyone else who would benefit from some professional training."

Some of the topics include Weed Management outing the pieces together, Not seeing corn insects for corn population status and resistance management, A shifting landscape for soybean diseases, and integrating the 4R's into P and K management when commodity prices are low.
