1 Dead In Semi Crash In Dakota County

The Minnesota State Patrol is still investigating the death of a Coon Rapids man when his semi left the road and hit a tree.

The accident was reported about 2:30AM Saturday. The state patrol along with the Dakota County Sheriff's office responded. The accident occurred at Highway 316 at 200th Street East in Hastings.

The semi driver was identified as 57-year-old Robert Kary of Coon Rapids. He was driving a 2013 Freightliner. The state patrol said Kary was wearing a seat belt and no alcohol was detected.
