Our nation's soldiers are returning home after valiantly serving, to a country that isn't giving them the support they need according to a addiction researcher with the Cliffside Malibu Treatment Center in Texas.  Constance Scharff will be on our program to discuss this issue.  Scharff specializes in addition recovery and co-authored the book "Ending Addiction For Good."  Suicides now outpace combat-related deaths and post-traumatic stress disorder is common in soldiers returning home.  Scharff says many of these soldiers show signs of drug and alcohol abuse and few are referred for the services they need or are entitled to.
