Stalk Quality Is Not The Same

I had a test plot on my farm with 15 different corn hybrids. This is a picture from my combine cab. Notice the rows right in front of the combine are all standing perfectly. Look a little ahead of the combine and to the right. You will see a spot that was flattened by the wind. Side by side, one corn hybrid was not blown down by the wind and the other one was flattened!
