Shattuck-St. Mary's School has been conducting the Fesler-Lampert Performing Arts Series for a number of years and Dick Kettering directs the program for the Faribault college prep school.

"The Fesler-Lampert and Acoustic Roots Performing Arts Series feature an exciting array of musicians and entertainers" the Shattuck website says.

Of course all these events are open to the public with season tickets $65 for adults for the Acoustic Roots and $39 for students.

Fesler-Lampert Series season tickets are $95 for adults and $55 students.

They do have combo package discounts available and you can purchase them online at the Shattuck-St. Mary's website www.s-sm.org.

The SSM box office phone number is 507-333-1620.

All performances take place in the historic Newhall Auditorium at 7:30 p.m.

The next event in the Acoustic Roots Series will be the group Ten Strings and a Goat Skin on Thursday, September 28.

The Shattuck-St. Mary's website describes the group like this:

"Hailed on two continents as infectious and the best of contemporary/traditional Celtic music, Ten Strings and a Goat Skin is a bilingual folk/fusion trio from Prince Edware Island that presents traditional and original music inspired by their Atlantic Canadian histories and roots, infused with pop and world rhythms.

There will be a lot more to discuss with Dick at 9:30 a.m. on our AM MInnesota program.
