On Saturday morning Gordy and I went over to the Goodhue County Fairgrounds to pick up our deck and haul it to the Rice County Fairgrounds. Jim from the Goodhue County Fair put it in one of their sheds after the fair last year. Thank you, Jim, for storing the deck for the winter. Jim had moved it out on the lawn so all we had to do was load it on my trailer and strap it down.

This deck was made by Larry and his crew at Larson Industries Vinyl and Farm Supply in Goodhue. It is not as big and heavy as our old deck, but still a little difficult for Gordy and I to load by ourselves. On Friday I called Phil from the Central Livestock Stockman's Supply to see if they were going to be working Saturday morning. Phil said they would be loading a trailer for a shipment to Wisconsin this morning. So, Phil sent Paul over with their forklift to load the deck for us. It's really nice that the Zumbrota Market is right across the road from the fairgrounds! Thank you Phil and Paul for helping out a couple of old radio guys! Like I always say, It's not what you know, but who you know!
