Let the winter meeting season begin! Next week the University of Minnesota Extension service will present the 2017 Research Updates for AG Professionals. The program will be held in Waseca January 3, 2017 and in Kasson January 4, 2017. The program will begin with registration at 11:30 am. The cost is $60 and continuing education units for Certified Crop Advisors have been applied for.The program will feature research-based strategies to deal with today's changing pests. diseases, varieties, and nutrient and environmental recommendations.

The educational sessions will include: what did we learn from on-farm strip trials in 2016 with Dr. Dan Kaiser, new, facts and speculation on key soybean and corn diseases Dr. Dean Malvick, managing insects of soybeans, insecticide resistant aphids and other challenges Dr. Bob Koch, are insecticides and option Dr. ken Ostlie and finally weeds are adaptable but are we adapting Dr. Jeff Gunsolus.
