On May 2, 2015, Power 96's Bryan Cantu put on a gorilla costume and started running as part of the 2015 Gorilla Run in Mankato, Minn. The event is a lot of fun, and benefits the North Mankato Miracle League and the Fallenstein Field.

This is an annual event, where hundreds of runners dress up as gorillas and chase bananas. The event is meant to be fun with the gorilla costumes, although people often layer additional costumes or festive attire over the gorilla costumes, and a celebration after the fun featuring live entertainment, awards for time and best costume, and food and beverage.

The proceeds from the Gorilla Run benefit the North Mankato Miracle League and Fallenstein Field, which is a handicap-accessible baseball and softball field in North Mankato giving children and adults with all types of disabilities the opportunity to enjoy participating in sports.

After the run, Bryan had a chance to chat with Tim Martin about the event.
