I'll be heading to Professional Pride Realty in Northfield today for our bi-weekly visit concerning happenings in Northfield.

This week is the Chamber of Commerce show, and Chamber President Todd Bornhouser tells us a representative will be stopping by from the new brewery in Northfield: Imminent Brewing.

Tonja and Randy Clay and Laura and Derek Meyers have started the business and will be opening the weekend of June 16 in their facility at the old Armory Garage. The location is 519 Division Street South, Unit 2 in Northfield.

I don't know if I get to taste any of the brews, but I'm sure looking forward to learning more about the business. The grand opening June 16, 17 and 18 features live music, local food and fresh beer all weekend. Hours will be 3-11PM Friday, 11AM to 11PM Saturday, and 11AM to 8PM Sunday.

During our Northfield Chamber visits, we have been featuring various Northfield Chamber member businesses on the show. The program starts 9:30 a.m. If you can't take in the show then, it will be online on the KDHL YouTube channel by mid-afternoon.

Below is a picture of the stein I picked up in Berlin and an empty bottle of some Luther beer I had in Germany. I guess Martin Luther enjoyed some good brew. I knew there was something I liked about that guy.
