01/13/14: This week's song is "Haul Away Joe" by the Okee Dokee Brothers. The Okee Dokee Brothers are two childhood friends who now reside in Minnesota and create family friendly music. The pair took a month long canoe trip from the Mississippi River headwaters to St. Louis, during which time they wrote the lyrics for their album "Can you Canoe?". That album won a Grammy in 2013. If you love the outdoor inspired tunes and bluegrass sound, check out some of their other songs including "Camping Tent" and the album's title song "Can You Canoe?".
