Music Monday August 15, 2016: Valerie June

It’s another Music Monday! Each week I share something I am currently listening to and think that you might also enjoy! It could be a tried and true favorite, it could be something I have just discovered, or it could be a new release by an artist of band that you already know. 

08/15/16: This week’s featured song is “Workin’ Woman Blues” by Valerie June. Originally from Tennessee, Valerie is a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. She has self-released three albums, and recently released her first album as a signed artist. In 2014, June was nominated for a Blues Music Award in the “Best New Artist Debut” category.
