I Was Younger Then!

Tuesday afternoon I was out to the farm hauling beans. It takes 30 minutes to fill a load. I had already checked all the corn, added some anti-freeze to the truck and had nothing else to do but watch the auger fill the truck. I glanced over at the silos and thought about the days of climbing silos. This is looking up the ladder of our largest silo,75 foot tall and 24 foot in diameter. Dad built this silo in 1974, a very big silo in that day. I used to climb that silo very quickly, but I was much younger then. Maybe one of these days I will climb the silo again (not as fast as I used to) and take a picture????
