Hastings Family Displaced After Fire

Fire broke out about 1AM in a house on the 2000 block of Ashland Street in Hastings on Wednesday morning.

The Hastings fire department reported that the fire was contained to most of the back of the house, and a family of four got out safely but will not be able to return to the home because of the damage.

No cause for the fire has yet been given. It is still under investigation.
