The Faribault Area High School Michael J. Hanson Performing Arts Center will be traveling back in time as students step on stage to perform a new musical, Happy Days. Book by Garry Marshall and music and lyrics by Paul Williams, Happy Days features all your favorite characters including Richie, Howard, Marian and Arthur "The Fonz" Fonzarelli.

The production will run April 16, 17 and 18 with a 7:30PM performance, and on April 19 with a matinee performance at 2PM. The April 16 showing will be ASL interpreted. For tickets and more information, call (507) 333-6109.

This new musical is based on the popular television show, which ran from the mid-1970s to the mid-1980s, but was set in 1950s Milwaukee. In the new play, Arnold's Drive In is on the verge of demolition, and the show's mainstays must come together and try to save it.

Grab a few friends and check out this local production! And good luck trying to keep that catchy theme song from getting stuck in your head!

"Goodbye gray sky, hello blue, there's nothing can hold me when I hold you."
