The Goodhue Wildcats beat a very physical and athletic Ada-Borup team 65-58 in the quarterfinals of the State Class A Girls Basketball Tournament in Minneapolis today.  Senior Mikayla Miller produced a 25 point 11 rebound effort after struggling early, admitting she was too amped up.  Every Wildcat contributed down the stretch in a tight game all the way.  But 8th grader Sydney Lodermeier was one of the News Record and Zumbro Shopper Wildcats of the game with her 14 points in 23 minutes off the bench.  Lodermeier was 4 for 4 from the field and 6 of 7 from the free throw line.  Michelle Hadler received a Wildcat of the game also with 9 points on 3 of 5 shooting including 2 for 4 from three point range.  Ada-Borup Outrebounded Goodhue 31-27, but the stats of the game were the Wildcats 23 -15 advantage in points off Ada-Borup turnovers and 32 points in the paint.  Goodhue tangles with defending state champ Minneota at noon in Semifinal action Friday in Williams Arena.  The game will be on KDHL with coverage at 11:45am.
