FFA. Not just for Farmers anymore.

The 85th Convention of the Minnesota FFA is wrapping up in St. Paul at the University of Minnesota. Jerry Groskreutz and I talked with many kids and leaders of the organization. And we agree that the future is in good hands.  It used to be that most of the members had some connection to farming. Now you have people that are learning to be leaders. Learning to speak better. Writers, engineers, mechanics, welders(even a few female ones) and of course those that have farming interests.  This group for the most part is not kids that just want to get out of school. They are making the  most of their time out of school. Go to ffa.org and find out how to be involved.
