Playing an instrument can be a wonderful experience. In addition to learning how to read music and play the actual instrument, you also lean focus and dedication, how to work within a larger group, and you meet new people and create lasting memories.

Often people who once loved playing an instrument set it aside for various reasons. If you've been thinking about dusting off your old beloved instrument, you are in luck! The Faribault Community Band is currently seeking new players from Faribault and surrounding areas. All are welcome, from students to retirees. Practices begin on May 3. If you are interested in playing, but no longer own your own instrument, there are some available to use.

For more information, or to sign up, call (507) 331-3331.

I spent many years in band, and it was a great experience. Throughout my time in band, I was able to travel, meet some amazing people who I still call friends, and make countless memories. Faribault is lucky to have a community band for music lovers to join, or watch perform.
