The Faribault Falcon baseball team opened defense of their Big Nine Co-Championship with an impressive 9-2 win over Rochester John Marshall on the road Thursday night.  Senior Nate Emge was very good on the hill, going the distance.  Emge allowed 6 hits in 7 innings of work and allowed just one earned run while striking out five and walking just one batter.  Faribault had 7 hits in the game. The contest was tied at 2 heading into the sixth inning before the Falcons cranked out the majority of their 7 hits.  Jake Scheffler had two RBI's and Tyler Becker had two hits for the Falcons playiing at John Adams Middle School in Rochester.
