John Dvorak, the Rice County Fair Manager, will be in studio for today's AM Minnesota program. John has been on each Tuesday but because of the 4th of July holiday on Tuesday, this week's Fair Talk was moved to today. The 2017 Rice County Fair is rapidly approaching as it is only 12 days away. Driving by the Rice County Fairgrounds you can see changes each day as preparations progress. Each week John has had a guest lined up to join us on Fair Talk and today it is someone from the rodeo.

The Barnes PRCA Rodeo will be the grandstand performance Friday evening starting at 7PM at the Rice County Fair. There has been bull riding in the past at the Rice County Fair. But a rodeo also includes calf roping and barrel racing. The Barnes PRCA rodeo is a four-generation family business that began in 1950. I am looking forward to talking with someone from the Barnes PRCA Rodeo on today's AM Minnesota program! By the way, the only bulls John and I will be riding are mechanical.
