Wagon Train and Farmamerica In Waseca

Minnesota's Sherriffs' Posse Association is sponsoring Wagon Train for Youth, which will be at the Waseca County Fairgrounds Friday, September 11 until Sunday, September 13. The fair grounds will be open on Thursday, September 10 at 4PM and close on Sunday the 13th at noon.

They are raising funds for Children's Hospital and Clinics of Minnesota.

Breakfast will be served Friday, Saturday and Sunday. An evening meal will be both Friday and Saturday.

Friday and Saturday rides will be 15 to 20 miles. There will be a stop at Farmamerica on Saturday.

Riders on saddled horses and mules are welcome. Be sure vaccinations are up to date. If riders are under 18, it is recommended they wear a helmet.

Any unruly horses will be asked to leave.

Farmamerica will be Saturday and Sunday - 12 & 13 - 10AM to 4PM both days.

The Antique Tractor Pull will be Saturday. Sunday the 1860s Mankato Baltics baseball game.

Time Lane with ten historic sits and interpreters will be at each site. Antique farming and harvesting will be demonstrated, and visit the 1850s and 1930s farms.

There will be a corn maze, also the Peddlers Grove will be open demonstrations, crafts and games.
