To celebrate its 90th anniversary, the Rice County Historical Society has planned a history walk around Faribault. Participants may explore either a 1.5-mile or 3-mile self-paced walking route that features many historic Faribault sites.
Registration is from 9-10AM Saturday, August 13, and the walk is from 9AM to noon. Walkers may begin as soon as they complete their registration and may take as much time as they wish. Registration is on the Rice County Historical Society grounds, 1814 N.W. Second Ave., near the log cabin.
The cost is $10 per person, $5 for students, and free for 12 and younger.
All participants 21 or older may enter a drawing for a free pint at F-Town Brewing Co. Ten winners will be drawn, and you must be present to win.
