Additional Information

Faribault native Steve Anderson will speak at River Bend Nature Center's Older, Wiser, Livelier Seniors (OWLS) luncheon on January 20 at noon. Anderson will share information on his 2015 hike of the Pacific Crest Trail, which spans 2,600 miles from the border of Mexico to the border of Canada. Participants will learn about Anderson's training and gear, the harsh environments he faced, and his adventures and experiences on the trail.

OWLS is a monthly, indoor natural history program for seniors that includes a catered lunch followed by a speaker on a natural history topic. OWLS programs take place in River Bend’s Interpretive Center.

The OWLS program fee is $12 per person ($10 for River Bend members). Preregistration is required for this program by January 14. For more information or to register, please call River Bend Nature Center at (507) 332-7151 or visit www.rbnc.org.
