Monarch butterflies are at risk of becoming an endangered species within our lifetimes. During the afternoon we will be learning all about this fascinating insect, as well as its famous migration. In the second half of the class, we will be learning how to be citizen scientists--collecting real data that will help protect the monarch butterfly.
The majority of our time will be spent outdoors, please wear closed-toed shoes, and be prepared to be off trail.
