Community Christmas Dinner in Faribault Details on AM Minnesota 12-7-2015

The Fourth Avenue United Methodist Church Community Christmas Dinner will be served this weekend.

Tom Hartman stops by the KDHL studios to give us some insight into this event, which has been hosted by the church for a number of years.

The meal has traditionally been served in the basement of the historic church constructed in 1915 and located across from the Rice County Government Services building.

Serving has been from 11AM to 1PM.

The church address is 219 Fourth Ave. N.W. in Faribault.

Take-out meals have also been available.

We will find out if there are any changes this year and if they need any volunteers to assist with serving or preparing the meal.

Donations have been accepted, with all money given going back into the community.
