The annual Zumbro Bend Rendezvous is taking place on Sept. 23-24. This year there is a new location. Just to the north of Highway 14 on Dodge County road 7 near the Czaplewski Funeral Home.

Officers responded to a report of a stabbing in the 1800 nblock of Kennedy Court last Friday. A 40 year old woman was found at the site with at least one serious stab wound.

William Matthews, the Wayzata Police Officer that was struck and killed last week will be laid to rest on Thursday. The funeral is set for 1pm at Wayzata Free Church with interment at Summit Park Cemetery. Visitation is at the church Wednesday night from 3 to 8pm.

Well now Minnesota 4-H recognizes the change in demographics and they are expanding from their farming roots.
