Russ Schwichtenberg of Morristown hung up his Thrivent Financial job to take a position as gift development director for Camp Omega.

He will be stopping by KDHL to tell us all about the new Adult and Family Retreat Center at the camp in rural Morristown.

I attended Camp Omega as a young teen in the 1970s, and it is where I first felt a real connection to God. I went to church each Sunday in Spring Valley and enjoyed it, but my first emotional connection came at Camp Omega. So it is very special for me to go there whenever I can, and now people like me can enjoy the new Adult and Family Retreat Center.

We will get the details from Russ about the vision for the new facility.

Camp Omega has always been available for Church Council retreats and business retreats and we will find out if the Adult and Family Retreat Center will offer different services or if it's a simple expansion of what is already being offered.

If you can't tune in at 9:30AM, go to our YouTube channel and watch the program.
