On a chilly but great for football Friday night at Bruce Smith Field in Faribault, the Bethlehem Academy Cardinals, after an exciting day of homecoming activities, were hoping to cap the evening with a win over Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton. The Bulldogs decided that they were going to spoil the night.

JWP on their first series chewed up much of the first quarter and moved the ball down for a score. After a Cardinal penalty, they decided to go for two and the score was 8-0. Seconds later Jack Clark scored for BA and Langfeldt's kick made it 8-7.

A fumble by the Cardinals in the second quarter resulted in another JWP touchdown and it was 15-7. On the kickoff, the Bulldogs recovered an onside kick, scored and made it 22-7. Then Damon Trump found Avery Hunt for a 32-yard touchdown play, the kick again was good and it was 22-14. BA had JWP in a fourth down situation and the Bulldogs' Josh Janike threw a pass instead of kicking it and found Andrew King. Sam Eustice threw to Janike after that and scored, making it 29-14 at the half.

JWP would ad two more in the second half to make it a 43-14 final.

Our State Farm Insurance agents of Faribault players of the game were Damon Trump and Avery Hunt. And after some consideration after we got off the air, I have decided to add Graham Ellendson, who led the Cardinals in tackles Friday night.

Bethlehem Academy (2-4) will face winless Mankato Loyola on the road next week.
