Another Farm Rental Rate Workshop

David Bau University of Minnesota Extension Educator in Agricultural Business Management will be presenting a workshop on determining what is a fair farm rental rate for 2019 on Wednesday February 20, 2019. The workshop will be held at the Dakota County Extension and Conservation Center, 4100 220th St. West in Farmington. There will be two workshops in Farmington, the first session will start at 9:30 am with an afternoon session starting at 1:30 pm. In case of bad weather the snow date is the following Thursday.

David Bau has presented these workshops around Minnesota this winter and has presented in Faribault and Owatonna. The workshops have been well attended by farmers and land owners. Negotiating a fair rental agreement that satisfies the land owner and the farmer is a challenge with the current farm economy. So, if you missed the opportunity to attend the workshop you have another chance without having to drive too far! There is no cost and you do not have to pre-register.
