AM Minnesota Today MAWRC Warren Formo

My guest on today's AM Minnesota Program will be Warren Formo Executive Director of the Minnesota Agriculture Resource Center (MAWRC.) Remember the MAWRC is funded by a number of commodity groups, farm organizations and ag business. Th mission of the MAWRC is to be a source for farmers and others interested in water quality issues.

The MAWRC also operates the Discovery Farms. Scientific equipment has been set up on real farms in Minnesota to measure any crop nutrients and sediment that leaves the farm. The data then can be used by farmers trying to figure our do a better job protecting their farms water resources. Plus it is science based information for law makers and government regulators.
