It's December 23, and like usual I am now just starting to buy Christmas gifts. I have two stops on my list for the gifts I have picked out for family members and friends. My first stop is Fleet Farm in Lakeville, it's got everything for my dad, brother, and father-in-law plus it's got some grocery items so no brainer I start there. While looking for a set of wrenches I stumbled upon what has to be the world's most expensive hammer, $230 at Fleet Farm, a Stiletto TB15SS 15 oz. TiBone TBII-15 Smooth/Straight Framing Hammer with Replaceable Steel Face. WHAT?!

A quick Google search of Stiletto hammer brings us to the product at hand. A hammer that Google has now found for $199.00 online. Still rather expensive for a hammer, at least for me. Does it do the hammering without me having to swing it?

I asked around the station on how much someone would be willing to pay for a hammer. Gordy stated $15-20 for a hammer. Jerry stated $8. Paul Benzick was in the same range as Gordy for a hammer.

All three were blown away by the $200 hammer. So I ask you what makes this device so expensive? Is it the titanium replaceable face? Why wouldn't Fleet Farm have this hammer locked up behind glass like a museum piece?

The Stiletto TB15SS 15 oz. TiBone TBII-15 Smooth/Straight Framing Hammer with Replaceable Steel Face has also been reviewed by Google users and boasts a 4.7 out of 5-star rating with 10 reviews.

Other than Zachary's 2-star review after the $250 hammer started to chip after two weeks...yikes...everyone says it's the best hammer they've ever purchased, but also the most expensive hammer they've ever purchased too.

If you have this hammer I have to know if it was worth the $200+ you paid for it.
