Total accumulations of 3 to 5 inches of new snowfall is expected across the area.

A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for Sibley, Brown, Nicollet, Le Sueur, Watonwan, Blue Earth (+more) counties, including the Twin Cities metro area -- where 4 to 7 inches of snow is expected.

NWS Tuesday Forecast: Snow, mainly before 5pm. Temperature falling to around 23 by 5pm. Blustery, with a north wind 10 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches possible.
