Winter Weather Advisory Today
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory in effect through 9:00 pm tonight for most of Southern Minnesota.
Total accumulations of 3 to 5 inches of new snowfall is expected across the area.
Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions may impact both the mornings and evening commutes. Get the latest road conditions by calling 511.
A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for Sibley, Brown, Nicollet, Le Sueur, Watonwan, Blue Earth (+more) counties, including the Twin Cities metro area -- where 4 to 7 inches of snow is expected.
NWS Tuesday Forecast: Snow, mainly before 5pm. Temperature falling to around 23 by 5pm. Blustery, with a north wind 10 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 3 to 5 inches possible.
