Wide-Eyed Norm Is Looking For A Patient Family & Loving Home

Norm is looking to stretch his limbs someplace new in 2022. Norm is our adoptable animal of the week and could be your new pet/roommate if you two are a match. Norm was rescued from being euthanized in August of 2021 and would be forever grateful to call your family and home his.

With more information on Norm, we turn to our friend Michaela Tews, who volunteers at the Mower County Humane Society with more information on this sweet grey cat, named Norm.

Norm was rescued from the Austin City Pound on 8/12/21 when he was due to be euthanized because no one came to claim him. This handsome boy is a younger guy probably about 8 months old. Norm likes to be pet and scratched but he is a tad shy about being picked up and held. He will need a patient home, someone who is willing to work with him and give him time to adjust. Normie is so worth it, we swear!

As you read, our friend Norm will need a patient home, with older children who understand he doesn't always enjoy being picked up and held. Although it sounds like once he warms up to you, you'll have a friend for life!

Interested applicants can fill out a form online here, and once approved can adopt Norm for $50. Remember when adopting from the Mower County Humane Society you need to have a carrier for your pet you are taking home in order to have the animal released to you.

Adoption update!

Derek was recently adopted from the Mower County Humane Society, and it appears he will even have a dog brother! Good luck Derek, and thanks to everyone who adopted a pet in 2021, and to all the future adoptive families in 2022!
