Abby Anderson took an important phone call mid-set during a performance at the Well Coffeehouse in Nashville on May 17. The interruption of Anderson's informal show came from Brett Eldredge's manager, Rob Beckham, who called to invite Anderson to join Eldredge on his fall tour.

Readers can press play above to watch the moment Anderson receives her invitation to be part of Eldredge's The Long Way Tour later this year, captured by One Country. She's handed the phone by Gordon Kerr, head of her record label, Black River Entertainment, and looks a bit confused about the call before Beckham explains that Eldredge would have made the ask himself, but he was overseas, where it was already the middle of the night.

"Mr. Rob, thank you! Thank you so much! Tell Brett thank you!" Anderson replies once the crowd's cheering dies down. "That's a big blessing .. Thank you!"

“I am so excited to have Abby join the Long Way Tour this fall,” Eldredge shares in a press release. “She has a voice that grabs you by the heart and demands you to listen. It’s well beyond her years, and I cannot wait to hear that golden voice every night.”

Anderson is one of The Boot's 2018 Artists to Watch and recently released her debut single, "Make Him Wait." Eldredge previously announced that another of The Boot's 2018 Artists to Watch, Devin Dawson, will be on the fall leg of the The Long Way Tour as well.

Eldredge wrapped up the first leg of his The Long Way Tour in early May. The fall leg begins on Sept. 13 in Denver, Colo.
