Can we get a hallelujah? I-35 South of Owatonna now has all lanes open, according to a media release from MNDOT. Traffic had been down to a single lane in both directions as crews were removing crossover lanes and did other work in the medians.

The northbound Straight River Rest Area is open as well.

Lane restrictions on HWY 14 south of Owatonna, and east of I-35 do remain in effect, but officials say that work there should wrap up next week.

The bridge replacement project was a two year effort, twelve bridges were replaced on I-35 and HWY 14. It looks as though the project is just about completed, and we can all be happy that there will not be any traffic delays throughout Winter, due to the road construction. For more information about these project, check out MNDOT's website.
