Two Minnesota Sheriff’s Offices Continue To Troll Ramsey County Attorney
News last month that the Ramsey County Attorney's Office would not seek charges stemming from low-level traffic stops is still simmering amongst many elected law enforcement officers. Two Minnesota Sheriff's Offices continue to poke at the attorney over that decision indirectly by posting arrests or busts stemming from low-level traffic stops.
Isanti County, located in what would be considered Central Minnesota posted yesterday morning to social media that a low-level traffic stop resulted in a felony arrest for driving on a revoked license and having methamphetamine in their possession.
Earlier in the morning the Chisago County Sheriff's Office, which commented on the Isanti County Sheriff's Office post, wrote about another low-level traffic stop that amounted to a felony-level arrest.

The post from the Chisago County Sheriff's Office reports what happened that lead to the felony level arrest, which the Sheriff's Office quipped at the end:
"And how do you think it all started? Because a proactive Deputy chose to enforce a minor equipment violation, which in this case was a taillight out on the trailer."
Both posts from both sheriff's offices received positive feedback from their audiences, many stated that they appreciated the directness of the Sheriff's Offices for what they posted, and many also voiced their support of local law enforcement.
