It was an almost perfect two day rain, but it can stop now! I know farmers are hard to please and we never seem happy about the weather. But we are happy now, at least as long the rain quits and we return to warm sunshine. It was also nice that we saw light rain over a couple days so it could soak into the soil. If we would have seen a thunder storm and heavy rain much of it would have run off.

Here are the two day rain gauge totals that were called into KDHL studios this morning.

Adrian by Truckers Inn in Faribault 1.1 inches

Dale west of Faribault 1.7 inches

Rolf west of Reliance Bank 1.5 inches

South side of Faribault 2.75 inches

Dick southeast of Faribault east Walcott township 1.85 inches

Richard just southeast of Kenyon 1.5 inches

Ed by Goodhue 1.4 inches

I am always curious about rainfall amounts in different parts of our listening area and I think others, especially farmers are too. Special thank you  to listeners that call in their rain gauge reports.
