
Two Arrested After High Speed Chase in SE Rochester
Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - Two Rochester men were arrested on drug and other charges following an early morning police chase in Rochester.
A spokesman says the pursuit began shortly after midnight when an Olmsted County Deputy attempted a traffic stop and ended when the driver lost control and crashed into a ditch near the intersection of Collegeview Road and East Circle Drive just north of the RCTC campus. In between, the chase hit speeds as high as 80 miles-per-hour on city streets in southeast Rochester.
The occupants of the car were identified as the driver, 29-year-old Jimmy Douangmychit, and his passenger, 41-year-old Rath An.
