Treat Your Tastebuds to Minnesota’s Favorite Super Bowl Snacks
It's Super Bowl week, and as much as we'll be enjoying the game, commercials, and halftime show -- for many of us it's all about the food and drinks.
The first question I have is what kind of Super Bowl watcher are you? Are you planning on heading to your favorite sports bar? Maybe heading to a friend's house for a little Super Bowl bash? Or are you just staying put, watching the game at home?
However and wherever you plan on watching the game, if you're like most Minnesotans, you wish we could have Monday off.

Take the Super Bowl Snack Bracket Challenge
The Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs are set to kickoff Super Bowl LIX this Sunday (2/9) at 5:30 pm in New Orleans on FOX.
Long before the players take to the field, and Taylor Swift starts jumping up and down in a private suite -- you and I will be focused on what we'll be eating during the game.
According to a recent study by Wells Fargo, the average Super Bowl parts for ten will cost an average of $139. That seems low to me, unless they are taking the drinks out of the equation.
The team at Sports Geek did some digging, and has come up the list of Minnesota's favorite Super Bowl snacks for 2025. Let's how things match up to your Sunday menu.
Minnesota's Favorite Super Bowl Snacks for 2025
- Chips & Dips (Old Dutch & Top the Tater? Just sayin')
- Chicken Wings
- Tater Tots
- Cookies
- Popcorn
- BBQ Ribs
- Meatballs
- Subs & Sandwiches
- Fries
- Chili
Now that's a pretty good lookin' list. I want to go the the party that's cookin' up some BBQ ribs! I'm a little disappointed that 'cookies' came in at #4, but at least the ol' veggie tray didn't crack the top-ten.
Minnesota's Favorite Dip Types for Super Sunday
Since chips & dips claimed the top-spot on our favorites list for 2025, the Sport Geek gang broke the kinds of dips down too.
- Salsa
- Hummus
- Ranch Dressing
- Guacamole
- Queso
- French Onion
- Spinach Artichoke
- Pizza Dip
- Buffalo Chicken
- Bean Dip
That's a pretty good looking list too. Good to see the very Minnesotan 'ranch' on there, I surprised ketchup didn't make the cut. 😂 The hummus is probably my wife's fault.
