The 93rd Minnesota State FFA Convention is coming up Sunday through Wednesday April 24-26 at the University of Minnesota and the Minnesota State Fairgrounds. There will be more than 4,000 FFA members, teachers, sponsors, adult volunteers and supporters that will gather at the University of Minnesota. Yes, it is that time for the blue FFA jackets to take over the University of Minnesota! This is a time to celebrate the FFA members accomplishments.

The Theme for the Convention is Thrive. This Convention is also a benchmark year with 15,000 FFA members this year. This is the largest membership since the 1980's. It is a little surprising but, in the last 3 years we have seen nineteen new FFA chapters chartered in Minnesota which was during the COVID pandemic.

I sure am looking forward to being up at the Minnesota State FFA Convention talking with area FFA members. All those interviews will be on the air Monday afternoon and Tuesday.
