Minnesota High School Girls and Boys Basketball Polls
The Minnesota State High School Coaches Association Poll for girls and boys basketball teams has been released.
A number of south central and southeastern Minnesota area schools are included.
Among girls teams, Goodhue was dropped out of the top ten in Class 2A. They are still listed in the others receiving votes category.
Three Big Nine Conference teams are listed in three different classes.
Rochester Mayo is #7 in Class 4A, Northfield #7 in Class 3A, and Red Wing #8 in Class 2A.
There are three South Suburban Conference schools in Class 4A, Rosemoount #3, Eastview of Apple Valley #6, and Lakeville South #10.
Four Hiawatha Valley League teams include Stewartville #6 in Class 3A, Byron #8 in 3A, Rochester Lourdes #5. and Goodhue in 2A.
The Gopher Conference has two teams among the state's elite with Class 1A New Richland-Hartland-Ellendale-Geneva #10 and Hayfield in others receiving votes.

The lone Gopher Conference team is Janesville-Waldorf-Pemnberton #8 in Class 1A.
