This Cat’s Name Might Evoke Trouble But This Loki Is Anything But!
It might be fair week this week with the Rice County Fair in full swing, but we wouldn't want to miss out on an opportunity to find an adoptable animal a new home. This week we are featuring Loki, a cat that was surrendered at less than a year old due to his previous owner having some health issues. While his name might sound like trouble it certainly seems that she is anything but!
Our friend and volunteer at the Mower County Humane Society, Michaela Tews has more information about this adoptable cat named Loki.
Loki was an owner surrender in May 2021 due to the owner's health failure. Loki is about 8 months old at the time of surrender. Loki is a people lover and as of this posting, still working on getting used to so many cats around him! He is a fun and affectionate guy ready for a home of his own.
If you are looking for a new companion this summer, just in time to start a routine before the kids and grandkids get going back to school.
If you are interested in Loki, you can adopt him for just $50 with an approved application, which you can download and fill out here. A reminder from the Mower County Humane Society that if you would like to adopt an animal from them you must be 21 to adopt.
Whether it's Loki or another cat or dog from the Mower County Humane Society or another organization remember that all pets are a lifetime commitment and you should make sure you are prepared for this investment.
