Temporary Burning Ban in Rice County

The state DNR and Rice County has issued a Burning Ban. Due to the forcasted high winds and warm temperatures forecast for 4-9-14 All previously issued burning permits are suspended until further notice. Only recreational campfires and grilling are allowed, although Rice County Sheriff Troy Dunn urges caution with those as well.
