I enjoyed the sights, sounds and smells of the fair and ran into quite a few people that I knew and even took in some of the free music being performed on a couple different stages, which made my visit to the Steele County Free Fair even better.

Opening ceremonies for the 2017 Steele County Free Fair are 5PM Tuesday, with the traditional flag raising in Fair Square Park. In the Grandstand is Great Frontier Bull Riding at 7:30PM. The Midway opens at 5PM with all rides just $2 courtesy of Power96 radio...

This week, I've had the chance to shake up my usual routine and spend some time in the KRFO and Kat Kountry 105 offices in Owatonna helping out during the Steele County Free Fair.
