Summer Festival Brings Family Fun to Faribault
The annual celebration of Faribault’s Heritage Days will take place next week from Wednesday, June 14, to Sunday, June 17. The event is filled with a variety of activities, sure to please everyone!
Heritage Days is filled with fun for the whole family and is a summer tradition you won't want to miss.
On Flag Day, June 14, the festivities officially kick off with the opening ceremony and Flag Day ceremony, followed by karaoke. On Thursday, the carnival opens with rides for kids of all ages.There is also a model airplane flying event, the mayor's reception, and the concert in the park featuring the Boys of America.
A community lunch is included in Friday's events, along with craft show and citywide garage sales. Pop Rocks plays in the beer garden Friday night. Saturday's highlights include a soapbox race, Touch of Magic show, grand parade, and music in the beer gardens by the Magic Sunshine Band. And throughout the entire week, make sure to listen to KDHL for clues for the medallion hunt.
