According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a driver in a pickup was attempting to make a U-turn on Highway 169 near Delaware Avenue in St. Lawrence Township in Scott County, causing a northbound semi truck to overturn while trying to avoid the pickup and, as a result, the semi spilled its load of corn all over northbound 169.

The highway will be closed part of Tuesday afternoon while it is cleaned up. Drivers in the area are urged to use caution.

Tthe driver of the pickup truck, 32-year-old Justin Peter Kubiczki of Elko, was wearing a seat belt and was not injured, and the driver of the semi truck, 61-year-old Grant Martin Annexstad of St. Peter, who was also wearing a seat belt, suffered injuries that are not life threatening, according to the State Patrol report.
