Show Off Your Talent at the MN State Fair Amateur Talent Contest!
Can you juggle, play an instrument, do magic? The Minnesota State Fair is looking for you! It was just announced that you can now register to audition to be a part of the 46th Annual Minnesota State Fair Amateur Talent Contest!
There are three divisions: Open Division (any age), Teen Division (ages 13-18) and Preteen Division (ages 12 and under). You need to register by 4pm on Wednesday, July 25th. Auditions are being held at the Leinie Lodge Bandshell on the fairgrounds on Monday, July 23rd through Sunday, July 29th. Auditions will start at 5:30pm on the weekdays and 11am on that Saturday and Sunday.
If you don't want to audition but still want to check out all of the talent Minnesotans have to offer the public is welcome to watch auditions for free!
After the auditions, they select certain acts to advance to the semifinals. Semifinalists will perform during the first 10 days of the fair at the Leinie Lodge Bandshell starting at 6pm. If you're selected to advance beyond the semifinals, the finals take place at the Grandstand at 7:30pm on Sunday, September 2nd.
All shows, including the finals, are open to the public and free to attend with fair admission!
