
Severe Thunderstorm Watch in effect
We are under a severe thunderstorm watch until Noon on Sunday. This means conditions are favorable for the development of severe thunderstorms in and close to the watch area.
From the National Storm Center in Norman, Oklahoma, the watch includes the following counties in Minnesota:
ANOKA BENTON BLUE EARTH CARVER CHISAGO DAKOTA DODGE GOODHUE HENNEPIN ISANTI KANABEC LE SUEUR MCLEOD MEEKER MILLE LACS MORRISON NICOLLET OLMSTED PINE RAMSEY RICE SCOTT SHERBURNE SIBLEY STEARNS STEELE WABASHA WASECA WASHINGTON WATONWAN WINONA WRIGHT
Some reports from early this morning indicate winds up to 70 miles an hour are possible across far western most counties of Minnesota already this morning.
