I am quite certain the Minnesota Corn Growers Association and Minnesota Soybean Growers Association are feeling a little lucky today. The MN Ag Expo will be held today and Thursday at the Verizon Wireless Center in Mankato. If that winter storm would have been a day later they may have had to cancel or postpone the Expo. Corn and soybean growers are driving to Mankato from all over Minnesota. I am sure by today the roads will be in pretty good winter driving condition.

The winter storm was fairly localized but Mankato was hit pretty hard. I did talk with a farmer in southwestern Minnesota Monday afternoon and he said it was a beautiful day with sunny skies! I am thankful that we had Tuesday to get the roads cleared and in better driving condition. I will be at the MN Ag Expo today and Thursday at the Minnesota Agriculture Water Resources Center booth in the trade show. Special thanks to the Center for letting me use their booth for all the interviews!
