Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News) - A Rochester man has been sentenced to 15 years probation for sexually assaulting a teenager who was attending a high school graduation party at a local motel last summer.

34-year-old Pang See was also given a stayed 74-month prison term that could be executed if he fails to meet the terms of his probation and he was ordered to serve 180 days in jail during the next three years. A portion of the jail sentence could be suspended if he successfully completes a sex offender treatment program.

See pleaded guilty last month to a third-degree criminal sexual conduct charge through an agreement that resulted in the dismissal of 1st-degree and 2nd-degree charges.

The victim told police she was sleeping on a pullout couch in the motel room with two female friends when a man entered from an adjoining room, fondled her, and then left. The same man later returned and resumed molesting the teenager until her friends woke up and he left the room. The charges stated that See returned a third time after the other girls left and raped the victim.
